VHP demands opening of Sharda Peeth corridor, seeks delimitation of JK assembly | KNO

Jammu, July 02 (KNO) : Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s (VHP) Jammu and Kashmir unit, Rajesh Gupta Tuesday demanded opening of Sharda Peeth Corridor including Kailash Manasrovar pilgrimage from Leh side, which according to him are unaddressed by the previous state government and failed to fulfill these long pending issues of the Hindu community. Rajesh Gupta while addressing the media persons at party headquarters Shakti Ashram, Old Rehari Jammu said that the conclusion VHP meet which was organized in J&K for the first time in 55 years wherein various resolutions were adopted to urge the Central Government to immediate ensure safe return of displaced Kashmiri Hindus and abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A, delimitation of State's Assembly Segments so as to ensure justice for nationalist population of J&K who are deprived of their fundamental rights since long. According to KNO Correspondent, he further urged upon the government for adopting alternate pollution free modes of transportation (Cable Car Project) Holy Amarnathji Cave including development of additional trek routes to the Holy from Kargil side and devising of management strategy for rebuilding and start of encroached and abandoned Hindu Temples in terrorism hit areas of Kashmir Valley. "Several issues and problems including miseries of Hindu people were also discussed in the concluded Kendriya Prabandh Samiti Baithak which are going to take up with present dispensation headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added as per KNO Correspondent.(KNO)
